FAQ

Common questions.

If something here doesn't cover it, send the question through the contact page and I'll answer the same way.

How much does a small business website cost?
Packages start at $750 for a one-page Starter Page, from $1,250 for a 3 to 5 page Local Business Site, and from $1,950 for a Growth Site. Final pricing depends on page count, content, integrations, and timeline. You'll always get a written quote before any work begins.
How long does a website take?
Most go live within one to three weeks once I've got your content (text, photos, logo). Refreshes are usually quicker.
Do you guarantee Google rankings?
No, and you should be careful of anyone who does. I set up the local SEO basics properly (titles, descriptions, sitemap, schema) so your site has a fair shot. Rankings themselves depend on a lot of stuff no designer controls.
Can you redesign my current website?
Yes. Most redesigns fit into the Local Business Site or Growth Site package, depending on how many pages you need and how much of the existing copy and branding I'm keeping. I'll tell you which one fits before quoting.
Can you work with my existing domain?
Yes. If you already own one, I'll point it at the new site. If you don't, I'll walk you through buying one.
Do I own my website?
Yes. The site, the domain, and the content are all yours. No hidden lock-ins.
Do you offer monthly updates or ongoing maintenance?
I don't lock clients into monthly retainers or care plans — after launch, the site is fully yours. If something small comes up later, reach out and I can quote it as a one-off when I have room. And if you'd rather have someone on call full time, I'm happy to hand everything off cleanly to another developer so nothing breaks in the move.
What do I need to provide?
Usually your business info, a list of services, any photos and a logo (if you have them), and a sense of the colors or tone you want. If something's missing, I'll help you sort it out.
Can you help if I only have a Facebook page?
Yes, that's where a lot of clients start. I'll build you a real site you can point people to, and link it back to your Facebook page so nothing gets dropped.
Do you make online stores?
I focus on service-based local businesses, not online stores. For simple selling I can point you in the right direction, but big product catalogs aren't really my thing.
